Headbands of Hope started because we wanted to spread hope to kids with illnesses through headbands. Back in April, we celebrated our 9th birthday and we launched our first annual Headband Designer Contest. The idea stemmed from our mission but we wanted to bring it to life during the month of September to celebrate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This contest allowed for current children battling an illness or survivors of a childhood illness to submit their very own personal design that would be included on a very special LIMITED EDITION Headbands of Hope Headband! So drum roll please....here's our winner!
The Anna's Daisies Knotted Headband was created by Anna, a 13 year old cancer survivor from Erie, PA. She received treatment at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in 2019, where she was introduced Headbands of Hope.
