MAKE YOUR OWN HEADBAND DAY AT DUKE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

On May 16th, Headbands of Hope teamed up with the water bottle brand, Bobble, to spread hope around Duke Children’s Hospital. The two came together to host a Make Your Own Headband Day, during which children bravely battling cancer had the opportunity to create headbands that were truly one-of-a-kind. Encouraged to design a headband that would be bold and unique, Duke’s patients experienced the brands’ shared promises to inspire their fans to be true to themselves, to be leaders, and to enjoy every moment.

Headbands of Hope is constantly thinking of new ways to bring joy and hope to children in hospitals around the country. After they met Bobble, it was clear that a collaboration with Duke Children’s Hospital would be perfect to allow children to create their own headband, as well as receive a Bobble water bottle!

“When we met at HQ Raleigh, there was this immediate connection between two women powered by the mission to do good.  We knew our brands spoke to the same customer through our vibrant products and that we could bring greater awareness to our missions through a partnership, but wanted to do so in a more affecting way, so we decided to make our next hospital visit a joint donation and an event that the children would definitely remember!” – Jess Ekstrom, Founder, Headbands of Hope
