At Headbands of Hope, we believe impact and style
belong together. Our journey began with a mission rooted in compassion—and has

Founded by Jess Ekstrom in 2012, Headbands of Hope was
inspired by a simple but powerful insight: children undergoing cancer treatment
often lose their hair and, along with it, some of their confidence. What if a
small accessory—a headband—could bring comfort, beauty, and a sense of normalcy back to those moments? That spark of an idea became a nationwide mission to restore hope, one headband at a time.
Since then, we’ve donated to almost every children’s
hospital in America and impacted hundreds of thousands of young lives globally.
And we’re just getting started.
