In honor of #WorldKindessDay, we are looking back at our amazing donation with Vistaprint!
During our time on Good Morning America, Vistaprint awarded us $10,000 for the good work we're doing in the community. To thank them, we took them on a DIY Headband Donation Day at Duke Children's Hospital.
Hannah Sasser, Child Life Specialist at Duke, summed up our Make Your Own Headband Day perfectly:
"I am fortunate to be able to share Headbands of Hope with patients during their inpatient stay at the hospital. I have shared these headbands with patients during times of new diagnosis, when they have experienced hair loss, prior to discharge into hospice care, and to create smiles during dress up play when normalizing the hospital environment. Headbands of Hope provides comfort and job while looking great on girls, boys, parents, siblings, favorite stuffed animals, nurses, doctors, and child life specialists (I love mine!) Headbands of Hope make many difficult situations more beautiful. Thank you, Headbands of Hope"
